While President-elect Obama wanted to be an architect, I am hopeful that the President-elect will bring some architects and design professionals on board his administration to mold policy decisions. The rumored Secretary of Urban Policy is a good start, but in a Federal government dominated by lawyers, architects and urban planners have to be included in the decision making process to help direct the forthcoming infrastructure stimulus package.
