Pouring one out to the recently departed Philip Johnson. Arguably one of the most influential (some would say, mediocre) architect of the 20th Century. Image from Nick (who I think photoshopped PJ’s face on the origional “le courvoisier” photo).
When people used to ask me how old PJ was, I’d reply by saying “Dead minus one”.
I suppose I’ll have to slightly revise that.

I’m still trying to find that picture of PJ with his “pool boy.” Actually, I don’t remember if that was Johnson or Corbusier.
